                                            “Dreamgirls” dazzles on OPPA!’s’ Main Stage beginning September 24th

                           On Pitch Performing Arts to be the first community theatre to produce this 1960’s classic.

LAYTON, UT (September 14, 2021) –With a diverse and stellar lead and ensemble cast, show stopping music, and dazzling costumes you will not want to miss this production of “Dreamgirls”. Presented by On Pitch Performing Arts (OPPA!) as part of their 2021 Community Theater season. Through gospel, R&B, smooth pop, disco, and more, “Dreamgirls” explores themes of ambition, hope and betrayal, all set in the glamorous and competitive world of the entertainment industry. 

 “The opportunity to do a show that is just never performed in Utah and the opportunity to work with a POC cast has been a special experience for all involved” says Dan Tate, Board President of On Pitch Performing Arts and “Dreamgirls” cast member. “Here at OPPA! we want to make sure that the POC community of actors is getting opportunities to tell important stories. We want to support them.”
